Jack Ryan Rollins, 5 years of age, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 following an extended battle with cancer. He was born February 5, 2011 in Clarksburg a son of Ryan Rollins and Brooke Cartmill Rollins of Bridgeport.

Our precious Jack was diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer at the age of two years, on December 27th, 2013. His bright blue eyes, infectious smile, and heroic courage never ceased during his two-and-a-half-year battle. Jack was known for his love of others and his giving heart. Upon a visit from one of his favorite superheroes, Batman, Jack took on the role himself. Wearing his favorite costume, he transformed into a superhero and visited the other sick children to share his love, positivity, and encouragement. Although he lived most of his life in hospitals, he still captured and touched the hearts of many people all over the world whom he had never met. Jack focused on his love of Legos to help pass the time during treatment, and in doing so acquired the official title of “Master Builder” from the Lego Corporation. His amazing spirit with be missed, along with his generous heart and loving smile.
We will forever be Jack Strong.
