Obituary for Jeanie Huffman (Wilson)

Jeanie Huffman, 82, of Salem passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at her residence. She was a loving wife and mother, dearly loved by many. She was born February 17, 1934 in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Albert Wilson and Nellie Cochran Wilson.
She is survived by her husband, Ollie Huffman whom she married on December 27, 1955.
She is also survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Lynn Rose Cunningham and her husband David; two sons, Don Huffman and his wife Heidi and Ron Huffman and his wife Lura Lea; grandchildren, Alex Huffman and his wife Jasmyne of Ripley, Ryan Rose and his wife Tiffanie of Salem, Jennalea Wallace and her husband Scott of Fairmont, Daniel Huffman and his wife Jill of Fairmont, Emma Huffman of Clarksburg and David Huffman of Salem; great grandchildren Aurora Huffman, Opal Huffman, Eli Huffman and Bradley Wallace; three brothers, Jimmy Wilson of Salem, Johnny Wilson of Williamstown and Jerry Wilson of Salem.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Lola Matthey, Carolyn Warner and Winnie Wilson; and one brother, Billy Wilson.
A graduate of Bristol High School, Jeanie cherished spending time with her family, especially playing with her grandchildren. She enjoyed riding horses on the family farm. She had a gift of making everyone she met feel special. She was a Godly woman and she shared her faith by the way she lived.

Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 4-8 pm. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday at 11:00 am at the Huffman Farm, 165 Waterslide Road, Salem with Pastor Dave Cunningham. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Mount Clare.
