Obituary for Ruth V. Suarez (Lee)
Ruth V. Lee Suarez, age 92, of Bridgeport, West Virginia passed away Sunday morning, January 29, 2017 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Ruth was a long-time member of Bridgeport Baptist Church and loved to sing in the choir. She was a wonderful cook and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Suarez; daughter, Linda Fean; parents, John Lee and Lillie Wilkins Lee; infant sister, Pauline; brothers, Melvin, Hoye, Clyde, Carl, Estel and Irvin.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Karen Suarez of Knoxville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Robert Mika of Mechanicsville, MD; son-in-law Dennis Fean of Mechanicsville, MD; grandchildren, Jason Fean and his wife Michelle of Lusby, MD; Laura Manning and husband Jon of Venice, FL; Heath Suarez and wife Jen of Portsmouth, VA; Heather Pardue and husband Wes of Cleveland, TN; Robert Mika and wife Kim of White Plains, MD; Justin Mika and wife Robyn of Mechanicsville, MD; and Andrew Mika and fiancé Neshia Downs of Mechanicsville, MD; nine great grandchildren; sister, Eloise Lupton of Delray, WV; several nieces and nephew.
Memorial contributions in Ruth’s memory can be made to the Bridgeport Baptist Church, 556 Worthington Drive, Bridgeport, WV 26330.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 3rd at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 South Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, where services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 4th with Pastor Thomas Edgell presiding. Interment will follow in Bridgeport Cemetery.
