Obituary for Robert Keith Goodwin

Robert Keith “Bobby” Goodwin, 60, of Rosemont, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Clarksburg on October 26, 1956 a son of the late Robert Goodwin and Naomi Brown Goodwin.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Wilma Darlene Ball Goodwin, whom he married on March 14, 1980.
He is also survived by his daughter, Amanda Nicole Goodwin of Rosemont and his son, Robert Keith Goodwin, Jr and his wife Stacia of Bridgeport; three grandchildren, Owen Kreed, Eden Annslea and JaKenzie Nicole; and one aunt, Alice Gobel of Parkersburg and several cousins.
Bobby worked for Union Carbide for 8 years and he enjoyed being around people. He loved his animals, especially his dogs and spending time with his grandchildren who he really loved.

The family would like to thank Dr. Salomon Osman and the nurses in the oncology department at United Hospital Center and People’s Hospice for the great care they provided Bobby.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in memory of Bobby.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 10:00 am -12:00 pm where funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm with Reverend Lois Sandy presiding. Interment will be in Flemington IOOF Cemetery, Flemington.
