The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Pastor Robert Jennings can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I first met Bob when he came to Mt Zion Baptist Church. He truly was a man of God and loved by all. Because his daughters were close to me and my sister's age we became close and were all just like a family. We had many great times at home and at Camp Carmel. I loved him just like he was a father. Bob, thanks for all the great memories and good times. You, my mom, dad, and daughter are together up there reminiscing and having a good time. May you rest in peace. Love ya.

Condolence: First memories of Bob and Betty were created at the Baptist Youth Fellowship Ten Mile Association meetings ... the days when Bob preached at both Calvary and Zion Baptist Churches. It was during visits to these churches that members of my family spiritually grew closer to our Savior and my sister, Debbie, accepted Christ.

All memories were of Bob as a man who knew the depths of God's Word and applied those depths to everyday life because Scripture enriches everyday life. He covered us in prayer for life, travel, health and other needs throughout the precious and challenging times of our own lives.

We miss and love you Bob but rejoice in the reunion you now experience with your Father, Savior and fellow believers in Heaven.

Condolence: We will miss our dear Bob but as we all know he is with his precious Jesus that he preached and witnessed for all his life. No greater man of God have we known than Bob. His strength and encouragement to Linda & I will always be remembered and cherished. I particularly will miss his encouragement and spirit to me as I had the privilege of teaching his class in Sarasota. Our prayers and love go out to Betty and all her family.
