The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kathleen Cather can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Beverly Bryan Wayne Hoppe
Condolence: I was saddened to read Kathleen's obituary in my Barbour Democrat. We became re-acquainted in 2003 when she contacted me after she read my father Vincent Bryan's obit in the same paper. She remembered me as a child when I visited Aunt Callie and Uncle Elbern in their house right above my grandparents' house on Maple Avenue. Over the years we had several phone conversations about our relatives which I enjoyed immensely! She and my dad had graduated together. I have been sending her my annual Christmas "Yuletide Times" since then. I see that Harriet is now the sole surviving sibling; my earliest memory is of her coming down the hill from her house to visit! I was still in my high chair looking out the window - probably under 2! "Harriteeeee!" I would call as she approached!
What a big lovely family we had! And I loved the memories Kathleen and I shared. Although none can live forever, I share your loss. I'm glad I knew her.

Condolence From: Mary Ann Gaston
Condolence: Mary K,
Our family is thinking of your family during this time. As a teacher your mother made a difference in many children's lives but she did not stop there. In her last few years she touched my family's life as well through our mother, Cleo Turner while she was at Serenity Hope. We thank her for that and you for your constant kind words to our mother when you visited your Mom. Our mother enjoyed your visits , your daughter Jennifer's visit and even your precious grandson. Our daughter Jennifer recently gave us a grandson named Anderson. I am sure our mother and yours are looking down on us now and discussing their loved ones. Know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers! Mary Ann
